Cancellation Policy
Last updated: April 22, 2025
At Robotbids, we aim to facilitate transparent and reliable transactions between buyers and verified vendors. As a marketplace platform, cancellations are governed by the policies outlined below to protect both parties and ensure fair use of our services.
Buyer-Initiated Cancellations
Buyers may request to cancel an order before it has been marked as shipped by the vendor. To request a cancellation:
Go to your order history.
Select the order and choose “Request Cancellation.”
The vendor will be notified and has up to 48 hours to approve or deny the request.
If the vendor has already shipped the item, cancellation is no longer possible. In such cases, the buyer may pursue a return or dispute, depending on the vendor’s return policy.
Vendor-Initiated Cancellations
Vendors may cancel an order if:
The item is no longer available.
There is a pricing or listing error.
The buyer’s shipping information is incomplete or unverifiable.
Vendors must inform the buyer of the reason for cancellation and must not cancel orders due to processing delays or low sale price without legitimate cause. Repeated or abusive cancellations may result in account review or suspension.
Automatic Cancellations
Robotbids reserves the right to automatically cancel orders under the following conditions:
The vendor does not confirm shipment within 7 business days of purchase.
There is clear evidence of fraud or policy violation.
Payment fails or is flagged by our payment processor.
Refunds for Cancelled Orders
When an order is cancelled:
If payment has not been processed, no charge will occur.
If payment has been processed, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Refund processing times vary based on the payment provider (usually 3–10 business days).
Robotbids’ Role
Robotbids acts as a neutral intermediary in cancellation cases and may step in to mediate disputes when necessary. However, we do not guarantee cancellation approval once an order is placed. Final decisions may depend on order status and vendor discretion.
